Today, three of the leading companies supporting Firebird and InterBase users, iBase.ru, IBSurgeon and IBPhoenix, signed a letter of intent to merge and combine all future operations of all three under the IBPhoenix banner. Russia-based activities and services will be offered from a newly-created establishment named IBPhoenix Russia.
The merger consolidates the expertise of IBPhoenix, the leading worldwide provider of multiple services for Firebird database software users with that of IBase.ru, the premier technical support team for InterBase and Firebird in Russia. The expanded group's activity will encompass the distribution, development and enhancement of the advanced IBSurgeon range of products for repairing, managing and optimizing performance for Firebird and InterBase.
The company's combined objective is to continue building and improving the quality and scope of all aspects of technical support for Firebird. Several plans are in hand to introduce a new range of support products and solutions to enhance the experience of developers and users of both Firebird and InterBase.
