Our optimization expert, Dmitri Kuzmenko, is well-known among Firebird and InterBase users. He wrote and introduced at 2005 Firebird Conference paper - "Firebird Performance Optimization for Different Applications" where some our results and optimization techniques are described. Also as a chief developer of IBAnalyst software the unique tool to analyze database statistics and find database problems both existing and forthcoming. He is also our lead InterBase and Firebird trainer. Dmitry personally conducts all optimization services and pay maximum attention to each case.
The results

Databases and applications are so different why the "Supercharge program" is the single?
Actually there are 2 different programs - one for mission-critical single database (for example, huge InterBase database (56Gb size) which serves all activities of large trading company), and another for vendor applications - i.e., if some company developed end-user of b2b application and shipped to its customers - and then experienced problems with it's performance.
Is it practical service or some kind of training?
It's practical. We are focused to result improvement of your database application performance. First time we investigate the situation and deal with client about performance measurement approach, then measure the current performance - it will be our starting point. We negotiate the desired results and start the improvement activity. If results will be not achieved we will not ask you for fee. Usually we provide 30% performance boost at least.
Is it only software improvement?
No, usually hardware tuning is also required. Of course, we will not ask you to buy 1-million dollar hardware, but modest hardware upgrade can achieve very good results. We know how to invest USD$500 into your hardware to get the maximum result.
For end-user applications we work out the optimal hardware configuration plan.
