We can recover heavily corrupted Firebird and InterBase databases - if our FirstAID tool cannot show (and, consequently, recover) data in your corrupted database, or you have problems with nbackup, or your database is very big - you need our Firebird/InterBase recovery service.

How do we perform the recovery?

IBSurgeon offers 2 types of recovery service: on-site and via remote desktop. On-site recovery means that customer needs to transfer database (archived in zip/rar/7z/etc) to us and we perform recovery in our office. To perform remote desktop recovery our specialists connect to the computer on customer’s side and perform investigation and recovery remotely.

Though all corruptions are different, after more 1500 successful recoveries we decided to set the following prices for:

Urgent request extra charge

Sometimes customers need urgent database recovery. But they can be in the different time zones (GMT+3.00), and this means that we should work day and night. We can ask up to 100% extra charge for such urgent work.

Discount for frequent customers (including buyers of technical support)

If you are the frequent customer, we can allow you up to 20% discount.

Investigation fee

Sometimes we can ask you to pay investigation fee - it costs EUR 150. Usually we can ask you to pay such fee after the first-look database investigation, when the repairing is expected to be difficult and we are not sure that we can save a reasonable amount of data.

Other discounts

We can allow a discount for extra time-consuming services, for a pack of databases, etc.

For example, if we have spent a fortnight to repair your database, our fee would look outrageous to your boss. We realize that repairing cannot be more expensive than recreating of the lost data.

Also, if you wish to repair several databases at once, we are ready to allow you up to 25% discount or even offer you a flat rate "per database".

And, some clients cannot pay for repairing work thousands dollars. Nevertheless, we realize that the database corruption is always a real disaster. So we are ready to allow a discount for such clients.

Refund

As you know, we ask money after the repairing is complete. And we always try to agree with client about all aspects of our service, including estimation of success and failure of repairing actions.
That is why we still have no refunds. But it is possible to get your money back if you are not satisfied with our service.
